A pair of Montana state senators are touring Flathead Valley businesses that cash in big during the summer season in an effort to beef up tourism throughout the state.

Llew Jones and Bruce Tutvedt stopped by the Marina Cay resort in Bigfork on Tuesday to learn more about the business of tourism.

The pair were shown what it takes to run a seasonal resort and say they will use what they learned to make decisions about the tourism industry during the next legislative session.
